Renovating instead of throwing things away and buying new is a growing trend in society. And we know that in order to create a sustainable future, it’s an important piece of the puzzle in the circular economy.
Our products are designed to last, and we continuously work to ensure that as much as possible can be reused. For some time now, we have been offering a renovation service where customers can send in their well-used Mousetrapper. We take care of it and refurbish it so it’s as good as new, with a full warranty and at a lower cost than buying a new product.
How Do We Get More Mousetrappers Sent In?
So how do we get more people to send in their devices for renovation? It’s a complex question that we’ve been working on for a while. There are no established systems for electronics like there are for returnable bottles and cans.
We need to find collaborations with colleagues and partners to create channels that make the process easy and at the same time beneficial for everyone involved.
This is a topic we’re actively discussing in our internal development meetings, looking for ways to move forward. There won’t be a single solution that fixes everything, but if we can find more people who want to work towards a circular society, that’s a big win. Do you have any ideas? We’d love to hear them!
